Our mission is to provide care packages filled with essential items such as food, clothing and hygiene products to homeless individuals in our community, in order to improve their quality of life and promote self-care.
A Helping Hand
Care Packages
Self-care is a fundamental human right, and providing essential items such as food, clothing, and hygiene products to homeless individuals is a crucial step in promoting dignity and humanity. Sadly, many of those need do not have the basic items for self-care. Our packages include socks, toothbrushes, snacks, tissues, feminine care items, and so much more.
One Meal a Day
The United States discards more food than any other country in the world: nearly 40 million tons — 80 billion pounds — every year. Yet many homeless go hungry every day.

Know Homelessness
5,700+
In the City of Philadelphia, about 5,700 are considered to be homeless in the city, which includes about 950 who are unsheltered.
15,000
On any given day, over 15,000 Pennsylvanians are known to be homeless and in the Balance of State areas, the more rural regions over 8,000 individuals including children were experiencing homelessness either being on the streets, doubled up with family or friends, or in shelters.
567,000
According to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development‘s Annual Homeless Assessment Report, as of 2017 there were around 554,000 homeless people in the United States, or 0.17% of the population.
